Sis. Jacquelyn Matthews
-Director

Hi There! My name is Jacquelyn Wilson, Director of the Macedonia Youth Church (MYC). The kids all call me Miss Jackie! I've been an active member of Macedonia for over 20 years and began working with the youth choir in 2012. We quickly bonded over music which later led to an opportunity to serve as director.

I consider myself divinely favored to be able to serve in an area that combined my 2 greatest passions. My first passion, I realized at a very early age, is music in various forms including singing and musical instruments, especially the piano. I have been in church choirs and performance choirs since the age of ten. My second passion is working with youth and young adults to help provide safe, loving environments for them to learn and grow. In addition to singing, I enjoy road trips (where I get to sing a lot...haha), the beach, cruises, karaoke (more singing), sports, board games, movies, and spending time with my family.

My greatest joy in life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the reason that I am who I am. Even when things haven't always worked out the way I thought they should, I stand firm on Romans 8:28, one of my favorite scriptures: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my greatest joy with my greatest passions.

Sis. Missy Bradley
-Primary Teacher

My name is Delicia Bradley. I grew up here at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. My grandparents were faithful members here at the church before they passed away, and I wanted to keep the legacy going when I decided to become a children church teacher. I also sing in the choir, and I love singing for the Lord. I love spending time with my daughter and my family. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your kids about God.

Favorite Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
